Dear Community Member,

Desert View Family Services & Counseling is planning its 14th annual Mayor’s Ball for March 7, 2026. We are reaching out to request your sponsorship for the 2026 Mayor’s Ball on behalf of Desert View Family Services and Counseling. For the past 23 years, Desert View has provided essential services to men, women, and children in San Juan (and previously in McKinley County from 2019 to 2024). Our key services include supportive mental health and counseling, in-home services for families involved with CYFD Protective Services, and initiatives to reduce truancy and promote behavior modification across San Juan County school districts.

Our dedicated staff works tirelessly to strengthen the community through various programs, including evidence-based High-Fidelity Wraparound Services and our latest initiative, Family Outreach Services. This program helps families facing daily challenges, such as paying rent and utilities. Through all our efforts, we remain committed to one mission: “To promote the wellness of individuals, their families, and the community through prevention, intervention, treatment, and by addressing existing social-emotional challenges.”

We want you to know we are planning another unforgettable night…

The Oscars red carpet is a place where fashion dreams become a reality! It’s an incredibly sensory experience characterized by a 900-foot crimson carpet, loud applause, and a dazzling array of flashbulbs from numerous photographers and journalists who ask, “Who are you wearing?” The Question now is- Who will you be wearing?!

We feel grateful for the opportunity to be part of another two-year cycle of the Mayor’s Ball and hope we can rely on your sponsorship. Nonprofits like Desert View Family Services & Counseling depend heavily on community support to meet their annual goals. Thank you for your consideration and for any past or future support of our community’s nonprofits.

Appreciatively,

Rick Quevedo, MA, CEO

Chief Executive Officer
