Desert View Billing

Paying for Services

When you visit Desert Views’ Family Services & Counseling Clinic, payment or payment arrangements will be required for all scheduled services before the service are rendered. This includes co-pays, co-insurance, deductibles, and outstanding balances. We accept cash or credit card. If you are unable to pay at the time of service, you must have a previous payment arrangement approved by Teri or Rick.

Online Bill Pay

If You Have Insurance (private/commercial to include Medicare and and all Medicaid(s)
For our insured patients, we will file a claim on your behalf. We will send you a statement showing that we have filed the claim.

Important note: If your insurance company is one of those we do not have a contract with, we will allow them 60 days to pay before we bill you directly.

If You are a Self-Pay Patient

Desert View has programs designed to help you manage payment of your bill. For more information about these programs, please call the number provided on your statement.

Assisting Those Without Insurance

If you do not have health insurance, one of our C.A.R.E. Coordinators can assist you with insurance enrollment through the health insurance exchange or with Medicaid eligibility. Call our C.A.R.E. program at 505-326-7878 ext 500 (Ariel or ext 501 (Priscilla) for assistance or other resources.

If Your Payer is Indian Health Service (IHS)

If you are American/Indian/Alaskan Native (AI/AN), you may request IHS to pay all or part of your bill, but you must notify the Purchased/Referred Care (PRC) program at your IHS service unit of the care you received. To contact the PCR program at Northern Navajo Medical Center call 505.368.6070.​

Patient Portal and Bill Pay

After becoming a patient of Desert View Family Services Counseling, you will receive a welcome email from “Insync” Portal (our electronic health record system) where you can access your patient records, prescription requests and billing information.

We have 3 alternative billing arrangements to choose from: You can either pay your bill online through our patient portal, sendi your payment via mail or you can also call our office with your credit card and we can email you a receipt. Our billing office addresses are as follows:
